Welcome to Arrowwood Shepherds, Inc.
When others say "No, we can't." We say "Yes, we can!"

Arrowwood Shepherds began when I was looking for help in training my own dog, Kane. My own experience, combined with what I have learned from working with other trainers, has enabled me to create my own dog training program. This program is based on the premise that if I can train the owner to train the dog, the dog will remain trained.

Specializing in behavior modification and aggression has given me the opportunity to work with owners and dogs that have a variety of issues, from people-and dog-aggression to separation anxiety and house training. Through my experiences and research, I have worked with dogs of different breeds, temperaments and backgrounds. Because each dog is different, my training classes are adapted to meet the needs of the individual dogs and their owners. Obedience is the key to a good relationship with your dog and is the basis for expanding into more advanced levels of training.

I also offer my services to any rescue or shelter. I look forward to working with you and your dog. Please come out and observe a class, or call to schedule a free consultation. The dogs and their owners at training can show you the benefits of having a well trained dog. I hope to provide the help you have been looking for.

GOOD LUCK KONA!!

It's like sending your kid off to War. You know it's the right thing to
do, but it hurts so so so bad.

Will everyone that knows Kona, join me and my family in wishing Kona
luck and happiness in helping the State of Maryland keep us all safe!

I know he has what it takes because thanks to my daughter Sierra and I, we really
brought it all out. I know now everyday of his career will be as fun and
rewarding as the next!

Here are some photos of Kona, Jillie and Kona with my 10 year old daughter. He and Jillie are having a lot of fun with each other. They both make me laugh every day. Per our conversation you can be assured that he and all of my dogs are pampered, i.e. indoor kennel with heat, blankie (haha), and ceiling fan. They only get wet or cold when they want to. He and I have bonded well and I am sure that when training starts he will excel. I will send you more photos and updates from training as they become available.
